This edition redux February 2007; featuring fresh & alternative versions to those featured elsewhere, taking the material back to its initial simpler form.
4) Conceptual C90 cassette edition: owing to the utter unreliability of all digital media - CD, CDR, DVD, floppy disks, Zip disks, internal & external hard drives - I now back up everything I do on cassette, thus ensuring that there'll be something to listen to thirty years hence. If interested in this (or cassette editions of any other work in the Ploughmyth catalogue) please contact:- tapes@sedayne.co.uk .
5) Subscription 33rpm 12" long playing vinyl edition: if we get 100 people prepared to stump up £8 UKP in advance this will be a reality. Contact: vinyl@sedayne.co.uk

All compositions & performances by Sedayne: citeras alpha & beta / crwth / bodhran / kemence / daff / riq / iron, brass & wooden animal bells / bird whistles / gongs / singing bowls / cymbals / stones / dumbek / melodica / saz / end & cross blown bamboo flutes / rabab / pocket cornet / accordion / wind whistle / C clarinet / toilet duck / trees / whistle flutes / crow / jay / lip siren.
Recorded at the Small Palace, County Durham, UK between August & November 2005 using Fostex VF80 digital 8-track, Behringer UB802 mixer, Behringer B1 & ADK microphones; all instrumental parts realised in real time with no looping, processing or subsequent editing - extraneous & incidental sounds likewise.
Click image below to stream mp3 of Hortus Cupendis (Cupid's garden) (2.22) for kemence* (Black Sea Fiddle), daff, bells & bird as realised November 2005; this piece didn't make it onto the main work, but remains an essential part of the Hinterlands material (likewise TOTENTANZ).
*For more on the kemence check out http://www.kemence.com/ - & be sure to let the introductory animation run, which is quite the most wonderful thing I've seen on the net for many the long year.
